If you file a complete and accurate tax return, your refund will be issued:

DOES THIS MEAN THE FUNDS HAVE BEEN RELEASE OR ISSUES?

Mine says THE SAME THING! However the IRS rep said i would have a DD of 2/3, as did the website yesterday. I think it means the funds are being released to your bank acct. We should have it tomorrow hopefully!!

Mine was submitted on 3/6/12, I was told 3/21/1, 3/28/12, on or before 4/3/12 than 6 weeks. I called the IRS figuring it was because they needed to take past due taxes out before issuing my remaining refund. They told me then that they accepted the return on 3/17/12 not within the 72 hrs stated for e-files. I even used an accountant this year. To date when I spoke with the IRS Agent I was told 2-3 weeks from 3/17/12. This is the worst year ever!

Here I am 2 months later and i’m still waiting. Everytime i call, they tell me to give it another two weeks. It’s so fustrating. They can never give me a straight answer!!!! They suck and I dont know what else to do. Please help!!!!!!!

I got a letter too, from the Department of Treasury saying my taxes were being “reviewed.” It also said they needed a copy of my original W-2′s by March 6th. The date on it said I’d get them back by April 26th. It’s my first time filing, and I don’t owe the state anything. I filed at the end of January, got my federal back by February 8th, but no state.

THIS IS A BUNCH OF BULLS@#$! THE IRS SHOULD REALY BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. FIRST IT WAS, “THE SYSTEM IS BEING UPDATED.” NOW THEY ARE SENDING OUT THESE LETTERS TO EVERYONE SAYING THAT THERE REFUNDS ARE BEING REVIEWED. I HAVE NEVER HAD THESES ISSUES AND I PRAY THAT THEY GET IT TOGETHER SO THAT IN THE COMMING YEARS WE DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. MY WIFE, SON, AND ME FILED AT THE SAME TIME ON THE SAME DAY WITH THE SAME PREPARER. THEY’VE GOT THEIR MONEY BACK AND I HAVENT. JUST CRAZY!! I GOT MY STATE BUT NOT MY FEDS… SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE DEAL IS!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I filed our taxes Feb 7th. Mailed in form 8379 on Feb 10th and it’s now 4/22 and still haven’t gotten a DD, even though a rep told us how much we’re getting back.Since Feb 22nd WMR has been saying that our return was applied to a past due obligation and then, 3 days ago it says the message about the 6 weeks. I guess I’m gonna have to call them Monday cause it’s been almost 10 weeks since we sent in form 8379, and to boot they’ve already processed it.If you want to speak to a live person when you call WMR DON”T PRESS ANY buttons, it may turn to voice sensitive so, DON”T say anything either. After a few minutes a real person will pick up.
