What time eastern time does the IRS open for returns Jan. 30th?

I want to wait and file when they officially start taking returns what time would that be eastern time?

    They are taking returns now !!!

    You will be accepted.
    The refund will take 21 days (after it processes on the 30th or later).

    There has been no announcement. Could be midnight, could be noon.

    The tests are supposed to be over, so no, they are not accepting forms now.

    Eastern is 2 hours back so, 7am. You can E-File now then it will be there when they get there. I did mine yesterday.

    Probably tomorrow morning after they do finish with the updating and do get ready for the large amount of efiled online 1040 FIT income tax returns that will be coming at them at that time tomorrow January 30 2013 . MILLIONS all in one day trying to get it done can you imagine this at this time in your life.

    MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people have already filed and had their returns accepted. They just are not PROCESSING returns until the 30th. You already missed the boat to be first in line.
