I’m looking for work and I want to know how low of an hourly wage I can accept.

And you wil NOT be able to find any average percentage for this purpose and time in your life.
Minimum wage laws would be applied for the type of work that you can qualify to find a job that would want to hire to work for that company at that time in your life.
California’s minimum wage is $ 8.00 per hour. This is greater than the Federal Minimum Wage. You are entitled to be paid the higher wage.
The minimum wage is $ 8.00 per hour for most employees in California, with exceptions for tipped employees, some student workers, and other exempt occupations.[1
Student workers may be paid as little as 85% of the minimum wage (rounded to the nearest nickel) for their first 160 hours of work.
