US taxes is “Federal Income Tax” withheld from your salary. The amount is based on your filing status and deductions when you filled out the W-4 Form. FICA is social security. At the end of the year you will receive a W-2 form which will show the total amount of money you earned during the year and how much your employer took out of your salary for Federal Withholding to pay your Federal Tax liability when you file your Form 1040 for 2012. You may be due a refund.

    Good luck.
