Is there really a good save place to reside in any state or a perceived safe place to reside?

How many times have I seen on TV people saying I never thought that would happen in our neighborhood.

You might check the crime statistics of any area in which you might want to reside, by contacting the local police department, normally this information is provided at no cost.

You might would want to contact friends and family that reside in the area in which you would want to reside. These individuals are always a good source of information.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

I live in a Town that has affordable housing, No paid police force since crime is so low the State Police can handle it. Schools are Top Rated especially in Computer Technology. Within an hour is a large city with theater, fine dinning and plenty of Art. Our County has ZERO debt. We live within our budget
Check NY State Website and Go County by County. Look at tax rates, school Rankings, Average housing costs and employment opportunities. Income taxes are High but can’t do anything about that.

I lived in NYS for 17 years as a child. I left and never looked back. The only thing Albany hasn’t taxed yet is the very air you breathe. Of course my experience was in WNY, that that was enough for me to form my own opinion.

Check online for crime stats in the various communities you are considering. With a daughter, I would be concerned with the location of sex offenders.
