Return Transcript…?

I really need someone an expert or if you know this answer to comment. I was able to order a Return Transcript. What exactly does that mean? What’s next? Please help

    it’s a copy of your tax forms.

    The trend this year seems to be that once a person can order that, they get a refund DD date on the IRS website 1-3 days later.

    I am in no manner a “tax expert” but from ton of researching, being able to order your transcript simply means they have finished reviewing your return…therefore you’re able to physically have it for your personal records. As far as when you’ll receive your refund, is still to be determined.
    This year the IRS has a new system. They are processing simple returns on no particular order. I have a friend who filed the same time as me, but already has her refund. It’s a luck of the draw type of year.
