My taxes were accepted January 31st and it’s May 19th and still no taxes.?

I had a problem with identity theft last year and the IRS sent me a 6-digit number to file my taxes with and they returned my taxes so I added it to it and the second time, they accepted. That was January 31st and it’s not May 19th and still no Taxes yet. We talked to HnR Block and they called and checked and it was telling them the same thing. We called the IRs and they are still saying that it’s being processed and we have to wait. It’s very annoying that it’s taking so long and no one is giving us a clear message and now, HnR Block is writing me notices for their charge since the taxes aren’t here yet. It’s ridiculous and I don’t know what is taking the IRS so long to process them and make them available. Help!!

Once you’re involved with identity theft, processing can take a long time while they verify things.
