In Ohio, if you work in one city and live in another, do you pay income tax for both cities?

For example if you work in Columbus and live in a suburb of Columbus do you pay Columbus City taxes and whatever suburb city taxes? Or just one?

How others found here:

Depends on the tax law of each place.

    Dear income tax:

unfortnately, yes. That’s what some of us hate about Cincinnati and Kentury. You live in one, and work in the other, but pay taxes in both.

    Sincerely,

you are talking about local taxes and that will depend entirely on local laws
for income tax, you would pay federal and state, the local laws are not included on those tax returns
