I’m confused about the 2012 Tax refund delay?

Ok I hve been reading that anyone who filed on or after Jan 26, should not expect a delay on their refund. Well, I filed 2/2 and was suppose to get mine 2/15 and here it is 2/19 and still nothing. Has anyone filed same date and received their refund. I am annoyed and fustrated! This is the first time I have to wait so long especially when supposibly efiling and direct deposit is suppose to be the best and quicker option. Yeah right! Unbelieveable they need to do something cause not knowing is what sucks!

    You can check the status of your refund at http://www.irs.gov. Sometimes there is a delay. I did not have a delay this year, but one time I did encounter a delayed refund. Maybe their staff gets sick with the flu en masse? It is the right time of year for that.

    I filed Feb 3rd. Until today, the “Where’s My Refund” tool on the website was not even acknowledging that they received my return, but the website has not been working correctly due to an IRS software update. FINALLY today I was able to get a refund anticipation date of March 6th. Ridiculously late, but what can you do? :(

    I filed the same day and I read this morning of someone actually getting their dd today that filed on 2/3 on the WMR site is says by 2/28 and I read that has changed to 3/6 for some people so the only thing I know of is to keep checking with my bank , sorry I couldn’t help you More

    I too filed on Feb 2nd and was accepted within an hour. I called two days ago and the lady said it still had not been processed. Once it goes into processing, you’ll get a date (as of this morning i got March 6th) but as it goes through processing you’ll see the date (hopefully) get moved up. My bf got his moved up from the 28th to the 21st then recieved it this morning in his bank. He even filed a week later than I. SO all in all, theres no set date of when youll get it, just bet on about 4 weeks from when you filed and were accepted. Its ridiculous that we cant know exactly when, but at this point theres nothing to do but hurry up and wait. blah!

    what confusion? IRS is having problems and when the gears of the operation fail to work, things get delayed

    I filled on feb 3 and for sometime it couldnt even give me any info and then when it did it said march 6th i about fell over. But then sunday night i got great news that it was due to be depposited in my account on the 24. So you guys may want to check back it seems they may be finally sorting through the glitch.
