If I made $25,000 for 2011 what would be an estimate for income tax?

I have no clue on how to figure out income tax, so if anyone would be helpful and give an example using $ 25,000/ year that would be great.

If you’re single and not a dependent, you can deduct $ 9750 from your gross income, leaving a taxable income of about $ 15,000. You’d owe about $ 1900 tax on that.
