I received a letter from integrity & verification operations after they refund was already accepted?

My refund been processing for like a week now they said as of now I don’t have to do anything idk what’s going on they also said if I don’t receive my refund or been contacted by them in 60 days call them is any one else having this problem

    Hello, I am a tax preparer and two of my clients received that letter. Basically what you have to do call the number in the letter and answer the questions. What the department wants to verify is that you are the person who you are claiming to be. Do not worry! You are not being audited.

    I never heard of “Integrity & Verification Operations” This does not sound like an IRS issued document. They do not send a letter to tell a taxpayer that the payment has been approved and is on the way. IF you did your taxes correctly the money shows up in your bank account or you receive a check.

    Who really sent this letter and is it a scam?

    I paid H & R Block almost $500 to do my rapid return, they need give back their filing fee for those who waited over 6 weeks and for those who are still waiting.
