Taxes were due a month ago. Why are you asking this now?

Go fill out your return and then you will know exactly how much you will get back (or owe).

Your federal tax will be around $ 550. Whatever was withheld for federal over that amount will be refunded.

Box 2 of your W-2 form FIT could that amount be 1400 and then the state income tax at the bottom of your W-2 form be 600 state income for a total of 2000 in state and FIT tax amounts that were withheld during the 2011 tax year by your employers for this purpose.
And this is for the 2011 tax year income tax returns that are now past due since April 17 of 2012.
Box 2 of the W-2 FIT $ amount that was withheld during the tax year 2011 as a credit to be applied to your possible FIT liability when you do correctly complete your 2011 1040 income tax return NOW ASAP and you can still do this online using the http://www.irs.gov website and choosing the
And you may also be able to do the Va state income tax return online from the Va department of revenue state website for this purpose also.
And at the bottom of your W-2 you might have some state income tax amounts that may have been withheld for this purpose to be used on your state income tax return.
When the withheld amounts are MORE than you income tax liability is then you would be able to qualify for a REFUND of some or all of the income taxes as a REFUND amount when you correctly complete your income tax returns and make a copy for your records and sign the other completed copies to each correct address the IRS and the Va state for this purpose and time in your life.
Your age your filing status and your TOTAL income and then your adjusted gross income income less your standard deduction amount and then MAYBE your own exemption amount when you are over the age of 24 and not dependent of another taxpayer for the tax year 2011.
Single age 25 under the age of 65 for the 2011 tax year.
    5800 standard deduction amount.
3700 for your 1 exemption amount
9500 free of federal income for the 2011 tax year.
    NO adjustments to income RIGHT.
    15000 – 9500 = 5500 of TAXABLE income for the 2011 tax year.
At the 10% marginal tax rate would be 550 of FIT liability for the 2011 tax year.
How much does the Box 2 of your W-2 forms have in them for the FIT amount for this purpose.
Now the Va state income tax return you will have to figure out your self for this purpose.
Hope that you find the above enclosed information useful. 05/20/2012

Go online and use TurboTax to fill out and file your taxes. You are going to be charged a penalty for filing late and interest for every day that you’ve failed to file. If you tarry any longer it’s possible you’ll be dipping into whatever return you may indeed be eligible for so, friend, time is of the essence.

    Get ‘er done! NOW.
