I filed form 8379 “Injured Spouse” about 3 weeks ago and I know it takes about 8 weeks to process but I am wondering if I will get my FULL refund once it is processed? and if perhaps I will get it before the eight weeks??
I filed electronic but I am unsure if I should look out in my mail for a check or direct deposit???
it is seriously impossible to get through the IRS by phone! any info or experience with this type of situation is appreciated.
side-note: My husband and I filed jointly, but he is unemployed no income whatsoever. Refund got deferred do to an old school loan he had 7-8 years prior to us getting married.
