I’m single, I claim 0, I live with my parents, and I make minimum wage… How much do they take out for taxes?

    you know that FICA will be withheld, 5.65%, and maybe 1% or more for a state employee tax
    the income tax will depend on your status, you say you live with your parents but that doesn’t mean you are their dependent
    as a dependent your non taxable income for IRS is $ 5800, single, no dependents(or a dependent) your non taxable is $ 9500

    W-4 filled out single and -0- ZERO Allowances 7.25 X 40 Hr. week pay period work in Michigan.
    Your employer payroll department may have some other amounts that I do NOT know about that they would have to withhold from your GROSS wages earnings before they will issue you your NET take home pay check.
    Gross pay $ 290.00
    Federal income tax $ 20.92
    Social Security $ 12.18
    Medicare $ 4.21
    Michigan$ 12.62
    Net pay (take home) $ 240.07
