How do I prove I didn’t file taxes?

Asked by: megan 2885 views YA Discussion

i didn’t work last year and got no tax returns. I’m trying to get medical assistance so I can get free health insurance but they need to see proof that I didn’t file taxes. How do I do this?
I got cash from internet jobs but never needed to fill out w2s because the company is based out of the uk and i live in the US . I don’t need to file taxes because they never sent me any tax documents. I have difficulties with employers because i have severe social anxiety and end up having a panic attack and fainting at pretty much every job interview. I have a panic attack if I leave my house.

On the IRS website print out a 4506T and go down to your local IRS office. They will give you a verification of nonfiling. You can order it by mail but that takes longer.

If you did not work last year, who supported you financially?
If you did not have income you may have to write a letter stating there was no income, therefore no tax return was necessary and that Mr/Mrs ? help you financially and perhaps you may request Mr/Mrs ? to write a letter to state they have supported you.
Letter may need to be notarized.

    The 4506-T won’t work for 2011 until June 15th, 2012.

If your “cash from internet jobs” was $ 400 or more, you MUST file.
