We have received your tax return and it is being processed. Your expected refund date has been changed due to processing delays. You should receive your refund by April 17, 2012. Please wait until that date to contact us again because we cannot take any action until then. Thank you for your patience

I receive the exact message. Just waiting. Im like thats around filing deadline time. I feel that to try new fraud detection should have been tested first.

I got the exact same message as well and same date changes too. I am receiving adoption tax credit and it’s a good chunk of money so I thought this was the hold up but the more I research the web, the more I’m just starting to think it’s all IRS’ glitches on so many people’s returns. My question would be, is this happening to people with minimal return amounts too?

I got a letter too. It was from the Department of Treasury saying my taxes were being “reviewed.” It also said they needed a copy of my original W-2′s by March 6th. The date on it said I’d get them back by April 26th. It’s my first time filing, and I don’t owe the state anything. I filed at the end of January, got my federal back by February 8th, but no state. This is ridiculous.
