Do I need to file K-1 on my tax return if all boxes are 0?
Asked by: vpalmer
I got a K-1 from a publicly traded partnership that I bought a few units in in 2012. However, I sold the units the next day. Therefore, my K-1 had nothing on it, all income/distribution etc. were all 0. The only non zero box was under box L for Capital constributed during the year, 513, and withdrawls & distribution, -513. Everything else is 0. Do I still need to include and report this K-1 form information on my tax return? thanks!
