    Possibly
    If half your SS plus all your pension, interest & dividends is $ 25k, then Yes you must file
    Depends on amount of interest, dividend, stock income, might be required to file

    Actually, the above test is to see if any of the SSA benefits are taxable.

    If single, does the pension exceed $ 9750?

    If married, does the total, including SSA and SSID, exceed $ 3800?

    You can find the answer in IRS Publication 501. Go to the link in the “source” section below. Click on “who must file” and read through Table 1 and Table 2. These should tell you if you need to file.
