Do direct deposit tax refunds become available at midnight on the scheduled deposit date?

Asked by: emeka22uche 2142 views YA Discussion

According to the ‘Where’s My Refund’ page on irs.gov, my federal refund will be direct deposited into my account on the 24th. Does anyone know if the funds are deposited at exactly 12:00, or will it just appear sometime throughout the day? Thanks in advance.

It still may take 2-5 days before it shows up on your account and it could come at anytime just depends on your bank. It has to go through the federal reserve bank, there bank and then to yours. Just have to wait at least you were given a deposit date I’m still waiting and millions others. Go to http://www.sbtpg.com, it’s the bank’s website on there it will give you your deposit status, rather or not the bank has received it yet and when it was transferred to your account. It will also give you details on transaction fees that will be deducted from your refund. Good Luck and let us know when you get it!
