date on the IRS transcript?

Asked by: minchk 3867 views YA Discussion

I have my transcript and there is a date of 02/25/2013 on it next to a code of 570…. anyone else? I have not received any information from WMR page except your refund is still being processed. I just tried to call and there is a 50 minute wait. Anyone get their refund processed coinciding with the date on their transcript?? HELP
Okay so calling and waiting for 50 minutes is probably not going to do any good. I have filed this way for 5 years with the same child, the same job, the same everything, and the refund process just continues to get longer and longer. I used Turbo Tax and have heard horror stories about it being inefficient and missing information on the forms, etc, etc. I filed stupidly on 01/30/2013 and was accepted the same day. It has now been the 21 days today I believe… Outrageous. I was hoping the transcript would give me some insight as to why I am waiting and waiting.. and was hoping the 02/25/2013 date was a good thing… Im burned out on all of it.. jeesh

How others found here:

  • IRS Transcript Code 570
  • transcript code 570
  • 570 code on tax transcript

No…The transcript has nothing to do with a refund date.

A lot of people says being able to order the transcript has nothing to do with the refund date. I don’t really know. I do know that I was unable to order a transcript until Wednesday. I ordered my transcript Wednesday, checked WMR this morning and I now have a date of 2/28. I don’t know if it’s pure coincidence or if it’s really true.

Transcript is irrelevant and a waste of your time and IRS time & money
WMR has been compromised by those hitting site multiple times daily(20-50 times!)
IRS says less than 21 days, and that is the case for most filers
Once filed, Nothing you can do will change when IRS will find refund

Does not have any thing to do with your 1040 FIT and refund status at all at this time in your life.

I’m in the same situation. 570 code means additional liability pending/ credit hold. Have you found anything new?

I filed on Jan 22 accepted 23. Have seriously looked into this I have 150 code where taxes were filed. The other codes are for my fed taxes withheld my child tax credit and eic credit I have a 570 code with o.oo and processing date of Feb 23 my amts show – negative which means a credit.no luck getting through to irs. Called treasury says I dont owe finally called a tax advocate where I had to prove financial hardship which I faxed over some fines need to pay to get my license. There is a 3 day wait. Was supposed to receive call from advocate Friday. No call but spoke to someone yesterday got name of advocate was told she filed a form to get my refund released and a letter requesting more info had been sent. The reason for my hold was to verify wages. But my appt over phone with tax advocate isn’t until 4/13 wth?? I was also told that I it said a letter had been sent but I told her I showed no 971 code she said I was correct. No letter had been sent and hasn’t been updated. So playing the waiting game.

Biancao I filed Jan 21st accepted Jan 23. I have the regular codes then code 570 with 0.00 and my processing date was 03/02 then they added another code 570. I called the IRS and was on the phone with them for almost 2 hours while they continued to transfer me saying this person had my refund on hold then when I got to the department they would say it wasn’t them. After all of that I was told I needed to verify my wages and withholdings from my employer and a letter was sent out but I have no code 971 so after several days I called back and explained I never received a letter and I was told one was never sent. They then stated they were doing a referral for special handling for my refund to be issued but that can take up to 30 days, so I too am just waiting.
